We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at Prevail Counseling Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing for a flexible schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. As part of a dedicated team of mental health professionals, you will work collaboratively while utilizing teletherapy tools and electronic medical records (EMR) systems to facilitate client interactions and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify and address mental health concerns across individual, couples, and group therapy settings.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring approaches are customized to individual needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric professionals, to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of client well-being.
• Maintain detailed and compliant clinical records in accordance with state laws and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions, keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Prevail Counseling Center, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Many of our clients come from underserved communities with limited access to mental health care, providing you with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrated ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with clients and provide empathetic support.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines pertaining to mental health practice.
• Proficient in using EMR software and other relevant therapeutic technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or clinical experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly preferred, enhancing your ability to address a wide spectrum of client needs.
• Experience in working within a community health setting, engaging with clients who may have complex socio-economic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and the client caseload.
