As a remote-based therapist within our telehealth facility, you will utilize innovative technology to reach clients in a safe and accessible manner. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories, needs, and appropriate treatment interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, ensuring they are evidence-based and tailored to each patient's journey.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other trauma-informed interventions effectively during individual and group therapy sessions.
• Assist patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping strategies during their healing journey.
• Engage with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of patient wellbeing.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-induced emergencies or urgent situations.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available therapeutic resources to foster understanding and support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies on trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Continuously seek to improve your own practice by staying current with advancements in trauma therapy and treatment best practices.

This position's focus will be primarily on individuals dealing with the ramifications of various traumatic experiences. You will provide care to a diverse client population that includes adults grappling with PTSD, complex trauma, and a range of dissociative disorders. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these individuals is key to providing effective support and treatment.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada is essential for this role.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly with trauma-related interventions.
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Proven experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure and emotionally charged situations.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
• Strong collaborative skills for effective teamwork within multidisciplinary settings.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural nuances in trauma response.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
