Job description

Call Centre Agent

As a Call Centre Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for customers — handling enquiries, resolving issues, and delivering a consistently great experience. You don't need to be a sales expert; you do need to enjoy talking to people and solving problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to customer queries professionally and promptly
  • Resolve complaints and escalate where necessary, following company procedures
  • Update customer records accurately in the CRM after each interaction
  • Meet daily call-handling targets and quality standards
  • Support outbound follow-up calls as needed
  • Work closely with team leaders to identify and flag recurring issues

What You'll Need

  • Experience with customer-facing roles, ideally in a call centre environment
  • Clear, professional spoken English with strong listening skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or customer management tools
  • A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace at home
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle difficult conversations with care

What's on Offer

  • R13,000–R16,000 per month (depending on experience)
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere in South Africa
  • Working hours: 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
  • Supportive team with ongoing training and feedback
