Join a high-impact federal engineering and construction team supporting mission-critical government projects across the continental United States. The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for customer satisfaction and the overall management of multiple design and construction projects, including renovations and improvements to government-owned and leased facilities.
This position oversees projects from initial planning through design, construction, commissioning, and occupancy while ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
โข Manage multiple design and construction projects from planning through occupancy
โข Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
โข Plan, organize, coordinate, and control project activities to ensure successful delivery
โข Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance to ensure compliance with project objectives
โข Coordinate project activities with customers, contractors, architects, engineers, and agency personnel
โข Develop project scopes of work in collaboration with customers and stakeholders
โข Prepare government cost estimates utilizing approved government estimating software
โข Evaluate project requirements and provide budgeting and planning recommendations
โข Assist in identifying project risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies
โข Review and approve design, construction, and related project documents
โข Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and contract requirements
โข Serve as on-site construction manager or inspector, as required
โข Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reviews throughout project execution
โข Coordinate construction activities to support timely project completion
โข Support procurement efforts in coordination with Contract Specialists
โข Assist with acquiring services from contractors, consultants, and Architect/Engineering (A/E) firms
โข Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, contractors, government personnel, and support teams
โข Resolve project issues, conflicts, and challenges that may impact project schedules or budgets
โข Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, schedules, and status updates
โข Track project milestones, deliverables, and budget execution
โข Ensure contractors and project teams remain focused on achieving project objectives
โข Provide recommendations to management regarding project performance and improvements
Minimum Qualifications
โข Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
โข Minimum of two (2) years of experience estimating construction projects, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
โข Experience supporting design, construction, renovation, or facilities-related projects
โข Ability to travel in support of site visits, inspections, project reviews, conferences, and meetings
โข Strong understanding of construction project management principles and practices
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
โข Knowledge of construction management, estimating, and project delivery processes
โข Ability to develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates
โข Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
โข Ability to resolve complex project issues and conflicts effectively
โข Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
โข Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
โข Strong written and verbal communication skills
โข Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
โข Ability to work collaboratively with customers, contractors, financial managers, Contract Specialists, and project stakeholders
โข Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for project outcomes
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be required to:
โข Travel to project and construction sites
โข Walk active construction areas and facility environments
โข Stand, sit, bend, climb, or traverse uneven terrain during site inspections
โข Lift and carry project-related materials or equipment as needed
โข Utilize standard office equipment and computer systems
Work Environment
โข Work is performed in both office and construction site environments
โข Travel throughout the continental United States may be required
โข Occasional attendance at regional, national, and local conferences, meetings, and seminars may be required
Security Clearance Requirement
โข U.S. Citizenship required
โข Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Secret / Top Secret / Public Trust)
โข Employment is contingent upon successful background investigation and PIV card issuance
