MAVRX, LLC is seeking a Survey Project Manager to take primary responsibility for assigned survey projects, including oversight of field personnel and technical staff. The ideal candidate is proficient with Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD Civil 3D, total stations, and Trimble GPS, with 10+ years of overall experience in land surveying, including approximately 5 years in a progressively responsible project management capacity spanning field work, office work, and project management, along with strong written communication skills and experience in client communications and project execution.
Responsibilities
  • Represent the company in a positive and enthusiastic manner
  • Follow safe working practices at all times
  • Manage and prepare documentation for all land surveying activities
  • Oversee timely document and design submittals
  • Address issues involving scope, schedule, and budget as they arise
  • Prepare cost estimates and write proposal documents
Required Qualifications
  • Must be able to pass background and drug tests, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • 10+ years of overall experience in land surveying, including approximately 5 years in a progressively responsible project management capacity
  • Operational understanding of GPS and survey equipment
  • Design skills; AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide effective solutions during challenges and conflict

  • High aptitude for learning and retaining new knowledge
  • Licensed Land Surveyor/LSIT preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 per year depending on experience
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
