Position Overview

Our client is seeking an Order Processing / Operations Associate to join a fast-paced, collaborative operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in an environment where priorities shift quickly and teamwork is essential.

This role will be responsible for managing and processing customer orders that require manual review and intervention, ensuring orders are handled accurately, efficiently, and with exceptional communication across multiple departments. While prior order processing experience is not required, candidates must be comfortable navigating systems, juggling multiple priorities, and working cross-functionally to solve problems.

This could be a great next step for a recent graduate looking to build a career in operations, or for someone with experience in operations or customer support who is looking to broaden their exposure within a growing organization.

Why This Opportunity:

  • Opportunity to learn new systems, develop operational expertise, and grow into broader responsibilities as the company continues to expand.
  • 100% remote
  • Company has doubled in size over the last two years and expects to double again
  • Products have strong retailer buy-in
  • Unlimited PTO structure

Key Responsibilities of the Order Processing / Operations Associate:

  • Process customer orders received through Shopify that require manual review and attention.
  • Research and resolve order exceptions, including backorders, inventory availability, customer-specific requirements, and account-related issues.
  • Partner closely with warehouse, sales, planning, and customer-facing teams to gather information and determine the appropriate path forward for each order.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding inventory levels, shipping timelines, customer requests, and order status updates.
  • Ensure all orders are entered, updated, and processed with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Make outbound calls and communicate regularly with sales representatives, warehouse personnel, planning teams, and other internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
  • Assist with operational projects and support additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Qualifications of the Order Processing / Operations Associate:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable learning and working within multiple systems and platforms.
  • Experience with Shopify, Excel, or similar business systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to analyze information, gather relevant details, and make sound decisions regarding order processing and customer requests.
  • Team-player mentality with a willingness to support functions outside of direct responsibilities when needed.
