• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, with a focus on fostering healthy relationships and emotional resilience.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider individual client circumstances, preferences, and specific mental health goals.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, providing a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings, and addressing challenges in a constructive manner.
• Maintain regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to assist clients in addressing substance use issues and co-occurring disorders, applying specialized techniques to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when additional referrals or resources are deemed beneficial for client care.
• Track and document client progress accurately in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring continuity of care.

You will primarily work with adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and addiction. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys, addressing both emotional and psychological complexities. • A valid LMFT license to practice in California is mandatory.

• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling abilities, encompassing skills in motivational interviewing and empathetic engagement.

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of virtual therapy tools and techniques.
• Previous work experience in outpatient mental health services is advantageous.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes to support clients comprehensively would be beneficial.
