Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders effectively.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs, taking into account their personal circumstances and treatment goals.
  • Engage clients in regular counseling sessions, both individually and in group settings, to foster healing and personal growth.
  • Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to clients regarding mental health issues, coping strategies, and resources for additional help.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and, when necessary, refer clients to specialized services to enhance their therapeutic experience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position requires a deep understanding of a diverse client population, which may include individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. You'll work closely with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for healing. Your role is essential in guiding clients towards healthier lifestyles and improved relationship dynamics, ultimately contributing to their overall mental wellbeing.

Qualifications
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Proven expertise in addiction counseling and evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
  • Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and support clients effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a community health clinic or similar environment, with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or family systems therapy.
  • Demonstrated success in managing treatment plans and documenting client progress in electronic health records (EHR).
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 based on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
