Position Overview

Empathetic Insight Psychological Services is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing vital therapeutic services to a diverse array of clients. You will play a pivotal role in fostering mental well-being and supporting individuals and families in navigating life's challenges.

About the Organization

At Empathetic Insight Psychological Services, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and compassionate environment centered around the mental health needs of our clients. Our mission is to guide individuals in forging meaningful relationships with themselves and others, equipping them with the tools necessary for self-discovery and emotional growth. We firmly believe that no one should walk alone on their journey of healing, and our commitment to non-judgmental support ensures that each client feels understood and valued.

Work Environment

This role operates within a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility and a balanced work-life integration. While our therapists primarily consult from their home offices, they are part of an inclusive community that prioritizes collaboration and continued professional development. Regular virtual team meetings and training sessions are conducted to bolster team dynamics and maintain high standards of client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat mental health disorders utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs.
  • Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that address the unique circumstances of each patient, ensuring a personalized therapeutic journey.
  • Engage in regular counseling sessions with clients, reviewing and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of patient progress and feedback.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and adapt therapeutic approaches to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an atmosphere where clients feel safe to express their thoughts and emotions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refer clients to additional specialists as needed, providing a comprehensive approach to mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population that encompasses individuals, couples, and families seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges. Special attention will be given to clients dealing with addiction and co-occurring disorders, where you will employ evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and personal growth. Your work will directly contribute to improving the overall well-being of clients and help them achieve healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience or specialized training in addiction counseling is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of evidence-based practices, particularly in relation to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
  • Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire clients through their healing processes.
Preferred Experience

While a strong educational background is crucial, we value practical experience that aligns with the responsibilities of this role. Candidates with a history in community health clinics or remote therapeutic settings will be given precedence, particularly those who have successfully implemented treatment plans for clients with complex mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Full health benefits and retirement plan, incorporating a 401(k) with company match.
  • A new hire bonus to support your transition into our team.
  • Quarterly productivity bonuses to reward exceptional performance.
  • Paid time off, holiday pay, and an annual bonus plan to encourage work-life balance and employee satisfaction.
Career Growth Opportunities

We are committed to the professional development of our employees. As an LMFT at Empathetic Insight Psychological Services, you will have access to ongoing training, mentorship, and the ability to take part in special projects that align with your career goals. There are ample opportunities for career advancement within our organization as we continue to grow and expand our reach in community mental health.
