Our Boston based branding, advertising, and digital agency client is looking to bring on a remote, part time, Copywriter:
Copywriter
Mid-Level 5-8+ years experience
Start = ASAP
Duration through end of September with possible extension
This is a remote, part time role, an average of 10 hours of work per week, (details below)
If you're in Boston and want to work hybrid, that's cool too!
What are they being asked to do in terms of deliverables?
a. Concepts and copy for social campaigns
b. Concepts and copy for websites. Have knowledge of SEO.
c. Work with agency designers and art directors to concept both visually and verbally to maximize impact of work
d. Concepts and copy for print collateral: brochures, one-sheets, etc.
e. Concepts and copy for video outlines and scripts
f. Potential interviewing for video production. Experience in video production and working with editors.
g. Deliver concepts and copy that bring research findings and media plans to life.

a. Writers should be able to work in google docs. Writers should be able to work in basecamp, and track jobs in basecamp. Writers should seamlessly use AI for research when needed to inform their thinking. They should not rely on AI to write. Skills in deck preparation - Powerpoint, Indesign, ... - are a bonus.
What availability do we need?
a. Ideally, writer would be a full-time freelancer, not doing freelance on the side with a full time job.
b. The more reliability and dependability we can have, the better. This doesn't exclude freelancers who work around a full-time gig, but it is preferable for agency.
c. We need writers who have flexibility/availability for meetings/calls during business hours for at least 2 days per week.
d. Given 1 or 2 days notice from agency, writer should have ability to schedule turnarounds in 24 hours, or over 3-4 day blocks of time.
e. We would need at least 10 hrs. per week availability within their current freelance client base to make them a viable candidate.
f. Writer must keep agency informed weeks in advance about vacation and personal time so we can schedule workflow appropriately.
