Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement IP/SoC verification plans and build verification test benches for IP/sub-system/SoC-level verification.
  • Develop functional tests based on the verification test plan.
  • Drive Design Verification to closure using defined verification metrics for test plans, functional coverage, and code coverage.
  • Debug, root-cause, and resolve functional failures in the design in partnership with the Design team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Model, Emulation, and Silicon validation teams, to ensure the highest design quality.
  • Drive continuous improvements in Design Verification processes using the latest methodologies, tools, and industry technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven track record of "first-pass success " in ASIC development cycles.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in SystemVerilog/UVM methodology and/or C/C++ based verification.
  • 15+ years of experience in IP/sub-system and/or SoC-level verification using System Verilog UVM/OVM methodologies.
  • Experience with design verification for data center applications such as Video, AI/ML, and Networking designs.
  • Proficiency in one or more areas such as Caches, Coherency, ROCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), or MMU.
  • Expertise in EDA tools and scripting languages (Python, TCL, Perl, Shell) for building tools and flows in verification environments.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing Design Verification infrastructure and executing full verification cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing UVM-based verification environments from scratch.
  • Familiarity with revision control systems like Mercurial (Hg), Git, or SVN.
  • Knowledge of advanced verification techniques, including SV Assertions, Formal, and Emulation.
  • Verification experience with ARM/RISC-V-based sub-systems or SoCs.
  • Expertise in high-speed interface verification such as PCIe, DDR, or Ethernet.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional design, model, and emulation teams.
