The OEM Sales Representative is a key member of the Commercial Cold Chain Sales team focused on the refrigeration compression, controls, projects and software services for the OEM market. The position develops, collaborates, and completes sales actions across multiple channels in collaboration with our OEM and Aftermarket Sales Teams. The OEM Sales Representative primary role within Copeland Cold Chain is to manage account activities and deliver sales growth through tactical execution maintaining a positive customer experience. This position will be responsible for sales to several Copeland Cold Chain OEM customers. This position will assist in developing business strategies, maintaining customer product profiles, collaborating with multiple internal teams, and developing key relationships. The ideal candidate will manage communications both internally and externally to ensure alignment.

As a SALES REPRESENTATIVE, You Will:

  • Drive year over year sales territory growth

  • Support strategy development and execute sales for OEM refrigerationcustomers to lower GWP refrigerant (CO2, R290, A2L) solutions

  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision makers at all customers in territory

  • Identify and define sales growth opportunities across the Copeland controls, projects services, and enterprise services products for customers in territory. Including products that support OEM lower GWP refrigerant (CO2, R290, A2L) strategies

  • Complete accountability for delivering and maintaining territory sales related to the OEM customers in territory.

  • Recognition and support of closure on opportunities of cross-business refrigerationproducts (compression, controls, enterprise services) to increase recurring revenue

  • Monthly participation in forecast process and updating

  • Monthly participation in our business opportunity management/pipeline process

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customer sourcing, purchasing, engineering, marketing, etc.

  • Manage customer profile, contacts, and opportunity funnel within Salesforce CRM platform

  • 10% Travel - Air travel required

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or technical field education and/or experience

  • Knowledge of classic sales methods and/or consultative solutions selling.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with both lower-level technical decision makers and executive level financial decision makers.

  • Customer focused and motivated to surpass client expectations

  • Maintain a motivated, positive, driven and professional approach

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required

  • Must be results motivated and able to work with a collaborative atmosphere

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day with a professional and friendly phone manner

  • Ability to interact with a highly matrixed team environment

  • Critical thinking skills to anticipate customer problems, objections

  • Strong follow-up skills, ability to ensure tasks are completed

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Sales experience

  • Experience in the Refrigeration, HVAC or Controls Technology

  • Prior experience in at least one of the following refrigeration areas: Sales, Service, Technical Support, Engineering, Product Management, or Sourcing

  • Experience with customer profile, contacts, and opportunity funnel management within Salesforce CRM platform
