Job description

LOCATION: This is a direct hire, in-house, full-time public relations agency talent acquisition role. Our recruitment team is based in key cities throughout the U.S. The Talent Acquisition Partner can work onsite at any of FINN Partners' U.S. office locations or remotely provided they reside in the U.S. Preference is for candidates in the Mountain or Pacific time zones; if not, the candidate will be required to work Pacific time zone business hours.

The Talent Acquisition Partner will have 3+ years of experience recruiting public relations/marketing professionals at all levels (entry to executive). Strong preference for candidates with experience as an in-house recruiter at PR and marketing agencies.
Each Talent Acquisition Partner at FINN Partners manages the full cycle recruitment process for the open positions in the business units assigned to them, including: creating the job description for each open requisition in partnership with the hire leader; sourcing passive candidates and screening active candidate applications; describing job opportunities and answering candidates' questions; scheduling and managing the interview process and logistics; and, presenting and negotiating offers of employment. The Talent Acquisition Partner is also involved in the onboarding and offboarding process for personnel in their assigned business units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with business unit leaders to define the specifics of their open positions (e,g. job titles, job descriptions, work location, etc.)
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified PR agency candidates at all career levels.
• Obtain proper authorization from the CFO to open new job requisitions, obtain the approved compensation budget, and begin recruitment process. Keep hiring managers abreast of open requisition status, delays, etc.
• Write job listings/descriptions for posting on authorized job boards.
• Conduct full cycle recruitment for positions in the assigned business units. This includes sourcing passive candidates, screening active candidates' resumes, reviewing work samples, scheduling and conducting screening interviews, advancing qualified candidates for hire leader consideration, etc.
• Manage the candidate interview process, including scheduling rounds of interviews and different types of interns (e.g. individual or panel) with business unit stakeholders; obtain post interview assessments and provide respectful and timely feedback to active candidates.
• Maintain candidate applicant records in the applicant tracking system and properly note candidate progression through the recruitment cycle.
• Maintain pipeline candidates in the ATS system for future openings
• Provide timely recruitment status updates to active candidates and hire leaders throughout recruitment cycle.
• Create and issue authorized documents for candidates being offered positions.
• Solicit and document prospective candidate referrals and referral source.
• Track active job advertisement efficacy/candidate quality/response rates and report findings to Global Head of HR.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry recruitment trends, recruitment best practices.
• Conduct offboarding procedures for exiting employees in the assigned business units.
• Participate in HR team meetings, projects and activities.
Job Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience recruiting public relations and/or marketing professionals with agency experience strongly preferred.
• B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Management, or related fields
• Business English language fluency (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
• Strong stakeholder/hiring manager communication skills (verbal and written)
• Experience recruiting candidates at all levels of an organization
• Experience with solving recruitment-related issues or challenges
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter (or similar prospecting platforms)
