Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients virtually. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care to maximize client progress.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of clients, employing a person-centered approach that encourages client participation in their own healing process.
  • Monitor and assess client progress through structured data collection methods, adapting treatment plans and interventions as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate support to promote stability.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on family dynamics to strengthen community ties and foster a supportive environment for shared learning and growth.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about current best practices in therapy, mental health, and community service.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, behavioral challenges, and relationship difficulties. Your focus will be on empowering clients through therapy to facilitate positive changes in their lives and improve their overall family dynamics.

Qualifications
  • A master's degree in a relevant field, including Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology.
  • An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical or medical environment, providing therapeutic services.
  • A thorough understanding of mental health principles, therapeutic techniques, and family systems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate empathetically and effectively with clients.
  • The capability to function independently while also collaborating efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working within community health settings or clinics.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling tools.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, with an annual salary of USD 120,000 to USD 130,000. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits include:
