Position Overview

Refresh Help Psychological Health Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our remote team in Santa Rosa, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family counseling sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused strategies.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to create a cohesive treatment approach for clients.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitate support groups or workshops that provide education on mental health topics to empower clients and foster a sense of community.
• Actively participate in regular team meetings to discuss case management, share insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses primarily on supporting diverse populations experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, and stress management. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field, with a current and valid LPCC license in California.
• A minimum of two years of experience in clinical counseling, with a strong foundation in therapeutic techniques and client engagement.
• Deep understanding of ethical and legal issues affecting the counseling profession, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with varied clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques to provide effective virtual therapy.
• Familiarity with mental health assessment tools and electronic health record systems to facilitate efficient documentation and care coordination.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations or specific therapeutic areas, such as addiction recovery or mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 yearly commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide:
