Key Responsibilities

  • Skillfully navigate resistance and conflict, utilizing therapeutic interventions to reduce tension and assist clients in recognizing and altering non-productive behaviors and thought patterns.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes using standardized digital platforms, ensuring compliance with social work and healthcare protocols.
  • Utilize the latest DSM diagnostic criteria to accurately assess and diagnose psychological disorders in children and adolescents while considering developmental milestones and age-related tasks.
  • Employ evidence-based practices, including behavior modification techniques and supportive therapy, to effectively address patients' unique psychosocial needs.
  • Conduct thorough and respectful interviews to evaluate patients' and families' medical, social, and emotional contexts, developing comprehensive assessments that guide treatment plans.
  • Regularly review and update treatment plans, ensuring they reflect the ongoing psychosocial assessment of each patient and their familyโ€™s unique strengths, needs, and values.
  • Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions, documenting goals and patient responses to enhance the effectiveness of collective therapeutic endeavors.
  • Engage actively in treatment-planning meetings, sharing insights about patient progress, challenges, and updating treatment strategies accordingly.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
