Position Details
  • Title: Virtual/Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative
  • Location: San Diego, CA (remote, within a 2-hour radius of Mission Valley)
  • Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (no weekends), must be available between 6am–6pm with occasional extended hours to 9 pm

A Day in the Life
As a Benefits Customer Service Representative, you will:
  • Provide compassionate, professional assistance to plan participants via phone, email, and instant messaging.
  • Tailor your communication style to meet the needs of diverse individuals, maintaining professionalism even in challenging interactions.
  • Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and data privacy standards.
  • Accurately document calls and case notes with attention to detail.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Previous customer service experience (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to navigate multiple computer windows
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment within the specified location radius
