Job description

Senior Acoustics Consultant - Located in Southern California, Chicago, Dallas, or Atlanta areas.
Job Summary: Our acoustics team is growing rapidly, and you can be part of this growth. We work on interesting and high-quality projects, and you will be working with some of the best engineers and architects in the USA. Our highly active markets include data centers, sports venues, performance and entertainment venues, healthcare, hospitality, corporate, residential and education projects.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in acoustics design and measurements for the built environment.
  • Experience in environmental and architectural acoustics, field measurement, and on-site construction observation. This position will focus on environmental acoustics experience, particularly with mechanical and power generation equipment located in urban and suburban environments.
  • The ability to design and prepare acoustics reports, conduct drawing reviews, perform calculations related to sound isolation, noise control and room acoustics, prepare schedules and specifications, and interact with clients and design team members on a daily basis.
  • The ability to serve as Project Manager/Lead Acoustics Consultant on a variety of projects as well as assist, support and mentor other acoustics team members.
  • A minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or other STEM fields.
  • Skills and experience in computer modelling (SoundPlan).
  • A desire to work on multi-discipline projects with talented design teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Location: This position is open for remote work, with a preferred goal for candidates located in Southern California, Chicago, Dallas, or Atlanta areas.
Travel: Up to 10%
Compensation & Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
