Onward Healing Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while serving clients throughout Vermont. • Conduct comprehensive client evaluations and assessments to establish personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions, as well as family and couples therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to support client engagement and healing.
• Collaboratively work with clients to monitor their progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards concerning confidentiality and privacy.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance treatment strategies and share insights with colleagues.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, representing various cultural backgrounds and life experiences. Your ability to deliver culturally competent care and foster inclusion will play a significant role in facilitating effective therapeutic relationships.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont.
• Proven experience in therapeutic practice with diverse populations, demonstrating an understanding of different mental health issues and effective intervention strategies.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, paired with a strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health counseling role, demonstrating a strong grasp of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
• Experience providing teletherapy and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing treatment plans that incorporate feedback and measure client progress.
