Sales Analytics Manager -Remote/WFH
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Analytics Manager to play a pivotal role in connecting our regional field sales and internal operations teams across our U.S. branded retail portfolio. This position ensures seamless communication between sales, demand planning, and supply chain by delivering accurate forecasts, actionable insights, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to influence decisions and drive results in a fast-paced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forecasting & Planning: Monitor sales performance, volume shifts, and promotional impact to deliver timely, accurate inputs into demand planning and the monthly S&OP process.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between sales, demand planning, and trade marketing, ensuring alignment on distribution changes, promotional schedules, and new product launches.
  • Business Insights: Leverage syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, etc.) and historical sales trends to identify risks, opportunities, and growth levers across categories and customers.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee annual volume plan targets, SKU rationalization, pallet/shipper orders, and aging inventory management, ensuring smooth execution in market.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver clear and actionable reporting on forecasts, trade spend, and sales performance to senior leadership, highlighting variances and recommended actions.
  • Strategic Projects: Lead annual financial planning inputs, support IBP reviews, and develop sales meeting materials to guide business strategy and execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in forecasting, planning, or sales operations (CPG industry strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and translate into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with syndicated data tools (IRI, Nielsen POS & panel).
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
