Job Title: Scrum Master Location: Virginia, VA Type: Contract Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous team improvement.
- Act as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting Agile best practices and principles.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
- Support the development team in removing impediments to ensure smooth progress of sprint deliverables.
- Monitor, track, and report on team performance metrics and sprint progress.
- Support the adoption of Agile methodologies across teams and departments as needed.
- 5-10+ years of Scrum Master experience
- Strong preference for candidates with 10+ years of experience
- Experience supporting Agile teams in complex enterprise environments
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- SAFe and Scrum certifications are preferred
