About Your Business Area/Department:
The Americas Airlines Pre-Sales team works with airline customers and prospects to shape complex transformation opportunities and demonstrate how Amadeus technology can address their business and technical challenges.
Our Sales Engineers combine deep airline industry and solution expertise with strong consultative and commercial skills, partnering with Sales, Solution Consulting, Product, R&D and Delivery teams throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
Summary of the role:
As a Sales Engineer specializing in Revenue Management and Dynamic Pricing, you'll combine airline commercial expertise, technical solutioning and consultative selling to help airlines transform how they optimize revenue and price their offers. You'll lead discovery, solution design, demonstrations and technical proposals across strategic customer opportunities.
In this role you'll:
Lead customer discovery and solution shaping with Revenue Management, Pricing, Commercial and IT stakeholders, uncovering business needs, technical requirements, pain points and opportunities.
  • Act as a domain expert across Revenue Management, Dynamic/Continuous Pricing, Offer Optimization and adjacent airline retailing capabilities, translating complex technology into clear customer value.

  • Design technically sound solutions, assessing airline architecture, integrations, data flows, feasibility, gaps and implementation considerations.

  • Lead the technical pre-sales cycle, including RFP/bid responses, technical proposals, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts and customer workshops.

  • Develop compelling value propositions and presentations that connect Amadeus capabilities to measurable airline business outcomes and clearly differentiate our solutions.

  • Partner across Sales, Solution Consulting, Product, R&D and Delivery to build scalable, customer-ready proposals and support commercial negotiations.

  • Contribute proactively to business development by identifying and qualifying opportunities, monitoring domain pipeline, understanding competitors and bringing customer/market requirements back into the organization.

  • Act as a trusted domain advisor, sharing expertise and contributing to continuous improvement across the regional Pre-Sales organization.

  • Travel up to 25-30% as required for customer engagements and internal collaboration.

About the ideal candidate:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in airline Revenue Management, Pricing, Inventory, Offer Optimization, airline commercial technology or a closely related area.

  • Strong understanding of airline Revenue Management concepts and processes, including demand forecasting, pricing strategy, inventory optimization and revenue optimization.

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing, consultative or pre-sales environment, with the ability to uncover customer needs and translate them into solution recommendations.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts as clear business value, adapting the message from airline subject-matter experts to senior/executive stakeholders.

  • Experience with technical discovery, solution design, customer workshops/presentations, demonstrations, RFPs or complex proposals.

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify risks, gaps and opportunities.

  • Understanding of airline commercial IT ecosystems, integrations and data flows.

  • Strong stakeholder-management and collaboration skills across Sales, Product, R&D, Delivery and customer organizations.

  • Fluent English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred.

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25-30%.

  • Hands-on expertise with Revenue Management and/or Dynamic/Continuous Pricing solutions.

  • Experience with modern airline retailing, Offer Management or commercial optimization.

  • Experience positioning solutions competitively and supporting complex airline technology sales cycles.

  • Experience engaging with senior airline Revenue Management, Pricing, Commercial or IT leadership.

  • Knowledge of Amadeus or competing airline commercial platforms.
