Job description

Job Title: AI Agent Orchestration Lead

Location: Remote or Memphis, TN (Hybrid)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Agent Orchestration Lead to help drive the next generation of AI-enabled software delivery. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who has successfully implemented AI solutions in production environments and can bridge the gap between emerging AI capabilities and enterprise-scale operational adoption.

The ideal candidate will have experience integrating AI solutions into software development and delivery processes, building scalable automation frameworks, and driving cross-functional adoption across engineering, architecture, platform, and security teams. This position focuses on delivering measurable business outcomes through AI-enabled automation rather than experimentation or proof-of-concept initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and operationalize AI-driven workflows that automate and enhance Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities. Build scalable, production-ready AI orchestration solutions with strong governance, monitoring, lifecycle management, and operational controls. Integrate AI capabilities into existing software delivery ecosystems, including development, testing, release management, observability, and operational processes. Establish repeatable patterns, standards, and best practices for enterprise AI adoption. Implement human-in-the-loop controls, approval workflows, audit mechanisms, and governance practices. Partner with engineering, architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and operational requirements. Identify opportunities to improve delivery speed, software quality, operational efficiency, and developer experience through AI-enabled automation. Develop reference architectures, implementation playbooks, and adoption guidance for engineering teams. Communicate progress, risks, adoption metrics, and operational outcomes to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, solution architecture, or related technical disciplines. Proven experience implementing and operationalizing AI solutions in production environments. Experience driving SDLC automation initiatives within enterprise technology environments. Strong background integrating solutions into modern software delivery and operational ecosystems. Experience working within governance, compliance, security, and enterprise architecture frameworks. Demonstrated ability to influence teams, establish standards, and drive adoption across multiple stakeholder groups. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience designing, implementing, or supporting AI agent orchestration solutions. Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, compliance controls, and audit requirements. Strong understanding of platform engineering principles and enterprise-scale software delivery. Experience supporting highly collaborative, cross-functional technical organizations.

How to Apply

Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit an updated resume for confidential consideration. We welcome conversations with professionals who are passionate about leveraging AI to transform software delivery and operational excellence. Third-party agencies and consulting firms, please do not inquire.
