Ability to quickly learn, apply, and adapt to new information and processes.The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $116,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage and execute Perdue?s co-product sales portfolio, generating approximately $4M in annual sales revenue, and lead the trading of RBD Vegetable oils with a strong focus on maximizing profitability.Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships.Monitor, interpret, and communicate key market driversincluding global supply & demand data.Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective product flow.Execute hedge strategies accurately and promptly to support customer requirements and manage market risk effectively.Provide customers with timely information related to market conditions, contract positions, logistic coordination, and account receivables.Prepare and deliver ad hoc reports to support commercial decision-making.Stay informed of logistics including tank car utilization, lease car rates, truck and rail freight rates, and fuel surcharge and the impact on refined oil margins.Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor?s degree (Agribusiness, Sales/Marketing, Economics)Knowledge of soybean crush & vegetable oil industryKnowledge of logistics processesKnowledge of basis trading, exports and hedgingDemonstrated excellence in customer service and client engagement.Working knowledge of cash commodity markets and CBOT fundamentals.Strong sales acumen with proven negotiation skillsExceptional verbal and written communication abilities.Proficient computer skills, including solid command of Microsoft Office applications.Strong commitment to timeliness, accuracy, and attention to detail.Ability to quickly learn, apply, and adapt to new information and processes.Required Experience2-5 years of trading/merchandising experiencePreferred Experience3-5 years of trading/merchandising experience preferred.Environmental Factors and Physical RequirementsNormal climate controlled office environment.
