As an Agile Practitioner - AI Enablement & Transformation within the OptumRx Value Delivery Office (VDO)-home to our ORx Agile Center of Excellence (CoE)-you will play a pivotal role in driving our organizational transformation to the Optum AI Delivery Framework. Operating at the enterprise level, you will lead change management, design and implement enterprise work management tools, and scale cutting-edge AI-enabled delivery lifecycles. This is a unique opportunity to combine your Agile expertise, change leadership, and analytical skills to help our teams adopt innovative workflows and realize measurable productivity gains. Join our team and play a key role in transforming how we deliver value across the organization.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:
AI Enablement & Delivery Lifecycle Adoption:

  • Lead rollout and adoption of AI-enabled delivery lifecycles across business and technology organizations
  • Translate lifecycle expectations into practical operating guidance, adoption goals, and team development plans
  • Shape development, deployment, and utilization of enterprise-approved AI capabilities within delivery workflows to improve outcomes, productivity, and business value
  • Remove organizational barriers, manage adoption risks, and enable partners to apply AI effectively in day-to-day delivery
  • Champion responsible AI practices by embedding transparency, fairness, and accountability across the delivery lifecycle

Enterprise Change Management:

  • Design and execute change management strategies to drive adoption of new ways of working
  • Identify adoption risks and resistance points, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Partner with leadership to align messaging, expectations, and accountability for adoption

Work Management & Operating Model Transformation:

  • Lead implementation and adoption of enterprise work management tools
  • Define success measures, milestone trackers, adoption milestones, and rollout strategies
  • Ensure tools and processes are aligned to outcomes and productivity

Community Enablement & Communications:

  • Lead Communities of Practice as the primary vehicle for training, engagement, learning, and adoption
  • Design scalable enablement experiences including office hours, working sessions, and adoption campaigns
  • Publish guidance, updates, and best practices via Viva Engage and enterprise platforms

Analytics & Productivity Insights:

  • Perform complex analysis to identify productivity trends and improvement opportunities
  • Leverage AI adoption data and delivery metrics to measure impact and quantify productivity gains
  • Deliver clear, executive-ready reporting on adoption progress and productivity outcomes

Program & Transformation Leadership:

  • Lead multi-phase transformation initiatives across tools, processes, and behaviors
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and stakeholder alignment
  • Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies to achieve transformation outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience leading enterprise-scale Agile transformations, operating model implementations, or large-scale change initiatives
  • 3 years of experience designing and executing structured change management strategies and driving stakeholder alignment across leadership levels
  • 3 years of experience with data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting tools to evaluate delivery outcomes and productivity trends
  • 2 years of experience designing, adopting, or scaling AI-enabled workflows and modern delivery practices
  • 2 years of experience establishing and leading Communities of Practice, training programs, or enterprise enablement initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner or equivalent change management certification
  • Agile certifications such as Scrum Alliance (CAL 1), ICAgile (ICP-SYS, ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF, ICP-APO, ICP-PDM), or PMI-ACP / PMP
  • Solid background in operating model design, delivery transformation, or productivity optimization
  • Experience implementing or managing enterprise-scale work management tools and platforms
  • Proven capability to quantify and report on operational productivity gains and delivery efficiency (experience with Power BI is a plus)
  • Proficiency with industry generative AI tools such as Copilots, Claude, Codex, NotebookLM, or other modern generative tools

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
