Job description

About the role

Isos Technology is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead our most complex, multi-client delivery within the professional services practice. This is a senior individual-contributor role for a PM who can own our highest-stakes engagements, set the standard for how we deliver, and raise the capability of the PMs around them.

At Isos, seniority isnโ€™t about time in seat. We level on scope, complexity, influence, and sustained impact โ€” not tenure. A Senior PM consistently operates at a higher level of complexity, carries our most demanding client relationships, and can be trusted to deliver in ambiguity without a playbook handed to them.

What youโ€™ll do

  • Lead delivery across multiple concurrent client engagements, owning scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholders on each.
  • Take on the toughest, highest-visibility projects in the portfolio โ€” the ones with the most moving parts, the most senior client stakeholders, or the most delivery risk.
  • Act as a consultative partner to clients, not just a coordinator โ€” anticipating problems, guiding decisions, and protecting the outcome.
  • Set and hold delivery standards: consistent use of our internal processes, tooling, and artifacts (backlogs, schedules, status, governance) so quality doesnโ€™t depend on whoโ€™s assigned.
  • Mentor and level up other PMs and delivery team members; serve as an SME and a model for how the role is done well.
  • Manage to your [billable/utilization target] while balancing the demands of several clients at once.

What sets a Senior PM apart (how we level)

Because we donโ€™t level on tenure, these are the differentiators we look for:

  • Scope & complexity โ€” you regularly run engagements of significant size, complexity, and stakeholder difficulty, and youโ€™ve done it across a meaningful number of projects, not just once.
  • Multi-client capability (required) โ€” you handle multiple clients simultaneously, with the context-switching, prioritization, and range that demands. Deeply dedicated single-client portfolio leadership is the Program Manager lane, not Senior PM.
  • Influence โ€” you shape how we deliver, not just what gets delivered; other PMs and consultants are better because of how you work.
  • Consultative judgment โ€” clients trust you with decisions, not just task tracking.
  • Order under ambiguity โ€” you bring structure without needing everything pre-built for you.

Requirements

  • 6 years of project management experience in professional services or consulting delivery, including 6 years running multiple concurrent client engagements.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, high-risk, or high-visibility projects to successful outcomes.
  • Strong command of both traditional and agile delivery (backlog management, iteration planning, product-owner collaboration).
  • Fluency in our delivery tooling ([Jira, Confluence]) and a track record of following and enforcing standard delivery processes.
  • Comfort in a lean, fast-changing environment โ€” building what isnโ€™t there rather than waiting for structure.

Preferred certifications & accreditations

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or comparable agile credential
  • Atlassian accreditations ([Jira, Confluence, relevant technical accreditations])
  • Relevant AI-delivery or tooling accreditations

Who thrives here

Isos is a lean, fast-evolving practice. The people who do best embrace ambiguity, treat gaps as a chance to put their mark on something rather than a problem handed to them, and can hold structure and flexibility in the same hand. If you need every process defined before you can move, this wonโ€™t be the right fit. If you like bringing order to a little healthy chaos, youโ€™ll do well here.

About Isos Technology

Isos Technology is a premier consulting services provider dedicated to empowering organizations through technology, people, and best practices. Founded in 2005, we began by creating Enterprise Java solutions and quickly embraced Jira and Confluence to enhance our consulting practice. Recognizing the power of these tools, we transitioned to become an Atlassian Partner in 2014 and attained Platinum Solution Partner status in 2016. Today, we\'re focused solely on Atlassian, with a mission to excel as the top Atlassian consulting firm in the US. In 2022, Isos joined The Acacia Group and expanded its reach by acquiring MajorKey Technologies, HyperVelocity Consulting, and Stack Intelligence\'s Atlassian practices.
