As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Advanced Care Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual video counseling sessions to assess and improve clients' mental health.
• Facilitating open discussions with clients regarding their emotions and past experiences to foster self-awareness and insight.
• Serving as an advocate for clients by identifying their goals and collaboratively developing actionable treatment plans.
• Evaluating clients’ mental health status and utilizing your clinical expertise to devise tailored treatment strategies that reflect best practices.
• Documenting therapy sessions in accordance with organizational protocols while minimizing administrative burden through our supportive systems.

You will primarily work with clients who have been prescreened, ensuring they present with stability and lower acuity levels. This targeted approach enables you to engage effectively with clients seeking assistance in managing life's challenges, enhancing their emotional well-being, and achieving personal growth.

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent state-issued license (not limited or provisional) as one of the following: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Strong capability to make informed evaluations and decisions regarding client treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build empathy and therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Proficient computer skills to navigate therapy platforms and documentation systems efficiently.

While not required, experience in specific therapeutic modalities and populations, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or trauma-informed care, will be viewed favorably. Additionally, familiarity with telehealth practices will enhance your ability to engage clients in an online setting.
