Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, employing evidence-based therapeutic methods to enhance clients' mental health.
• Encourage clients to explore their emotions and experiences, fostering self-actualization and awareness of their relationships.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining personal goals for mental health improvement and monitoring their progress.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans based on clinical expertise, using a solution-focused approach.
• Document client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, while minimizing administrative burdens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse array of clients, all of whom are pre-screened and categorized as stable with low acuity needs. This focus allows you to work effectively and efficiently while providing essential support to clients who are often seeking preventative or proactive mental health care. Our organization emphasizes pairing you with clients whose demographics and needs align with your expertise, ensuring a fulfilling therapeutic relationship from the start.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• A current independent licensure from the state board, such as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Proven ability to make informed evaluations and recommendations for individualized treatment plans.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage and build rapport with clients effectively.
• Strong computer proficiency to navigate various digital platforms used for client management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with teletherapy, especially using video conference platforms for conducting sessions.
• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• A background in working with varied client populations, including different age groups and cultural backgrounds.
