Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapeutic sessions and collaborating with clients to establish and achieve personalized treatment goals.
• Providing prevention-oriented therapy and crisis intervention when necessary.
• Implementing and regularly reviewing detailed treatment plans to monitor and evaluate client progress.
• Collaborating with external treatment providers, placement agencies, and community resources to offer comprehensive care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for all client interactions and treatment interventions, following HIPAA guidelines.
• Managing a caseload of clients while adhering to ethical and professional standards in all practices.
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance the overall clinical environment.
• Contributing to an enriching workplace culture focused on teamwork and positivity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse client base, encompassing individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds and with a wide range of mental health challenges. Our clients may experience issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use disorders. Delivering culturally competent care tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and needs is paramount to your success in this role.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid and current licensure as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Arizona.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
• Proficiency in utilizing community mental health resources and referral processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proven leadership qualities and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences would greatly enhance a candidate’s application:

• Experience working in a community health or non-profit setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and professional credentials. Additional benefits include:
