Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions with clients, focusing on promoting mental health and emotional well-being.
• Engage clients in dialogue to encourage open expression of their feelings, thoughts, and experiences.
• Utilize various assessment methods, including conversations and standardized tests, to identify emotional and behavioral issues.
• Assist clients in setting achievable goals, developing structured action plans, and fostering insights into their mental health challenges.
• Adopt a solution-focused approach to therapy, empowering clients to implement practical strategies to overcome challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily consist of stable individuals with low acuity needs, ensuring that you work with clients who are seeking support for manageable emotional and mental health concerns. Our screening process guarantees that you are matched with clients who align with your specialties and preferences, creating a targeted and effective therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Valid and independent state licensure (LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC) is required to practice.
• Proven ability to evaluate clients, make informed decisions, and craft effective treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using technology for virtual counseling, including video conferencing tools.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a counseling role, particularly in remote settings, is preferred. Familiarity with therapeutic approaches that focus on prevention and solution-oriented outcomes will enhance your effectiveness. Experience working in Detox Centers or similar environments may also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 based on experience and hours worked.
