Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and empathetic individual mental health counseling via a secure video platform.
• Utilize solution-oriented therapeutic frameworks to customize treatment for each client.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress.
• Facilitate insights and promote self-awareness, helping clients understand their emotions and relationships.
• Monitor patient progress within prescribed treatment plans, making necessary adjustments for optimal outcomes.
• Equip clients with effective, healthy coping strategies to manage their mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist at J & D Mood Balance Health Care, you will primarily serve low-acuity adults who are stable yet require guidance in improving their mental health and overall quality of life. Our client population is diverse, experiencing a range of mental health concerns. Your expertise will help them navigate their challenges and foster meaningful growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• No limited or provisional licenses will be accepted, and candidates should have no disciplinary actions against their license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an empathetic disposition, with a strong ability to connect with clients.
• Proficient in technology with strong computer literacy skills, enabling you to navigate our telehealth platform effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in remote therapy settings is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy or cognitive-behavioral therapy methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, depending on the number of working hours and experience. A generous sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, alongside a monthly healthcare stipend for those working full-time. We also provide weekly direct deposit, ensuring timely payment for your valuable work.
