Job Title: Excel Expert

Job Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required โ€” your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, analyze, and enhance complex Excel files relevant to business operations, strategy, and data analysis.

Provide detailed feedback and examples of best practices in Excel for operational and consulting use cases (excluding finance).

Design, document, and share templates or solutions that reflect expert knowledge for AI learning purposes.

Collaborate with the customer's team to identify key workflows and operational challenges represented in Excel documents.

Evaluate and simulate real-world business problems using advanced Excel features and formulas.

Communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats, ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation.

Contribute to the creation of data analysis case studies and operational scenarios leveraging Excel expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data validation, and automation tools.

Proven experience developing Excel solutions for business operations, strategy, or consulting environments.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex, non-financial business problems using Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to document processes, create instructional materials, and provide clear, actionable feedback.

Experience with data analysis, scenario modeling, and workflow optimization in Excel.

Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in business operations, strategy, or management consulting.

Familiarity with AI training or contributing to machine learning datasets in a domain capacity.

Experience developing Excel-based tools or dashboards for operational excellence initiatives.
