• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through teletherapy to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and protocols.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that take into account developmental stages, cultural backgrounds, and family dynamics.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address a wide array of mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
• Deliver family therapy sessions that guide parents and caregivers in nurturing supportive environments, employing active listening and empathy to engage all family members.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to create a coordinated care approach, ensuring holistic and comprehensive treatment for each patient.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support for young individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment paths, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient privacy is upheld.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and updates about patient progress to improve collaborative treatment strategies.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

This role specifically targets children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our focus includes young individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. This position allows you to make significant contributions to the well-being of these vulnerable populations, directly influencing their mental health trajectories and quality of life.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, active licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in Kansas.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly focusing on children and adolescents.
• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience providing both individual and family therapy, showcasing an ability to engage and empathize with young patients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on a compassionate, child-centered approach.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and employer-set applications for documentation and tracking of patient care.
• A collaborative spirit conducive to working within a multidisciplinary team as well as the ability to build trust with children and families.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver mental health services effectively.
• Familiarity with community resources and support networks for children and families facing mental health challenges.
• Advanced training in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
