Empath Behavioral Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our dynamic team in providing high-quality mental health care. The salary for this role ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, with an additional $3,000 sign-on bonus available upon hire.

Though remote, team interactions will occur regularly to maintain communication, coordinate care, and share insights on patient treatment strategies.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize the individual needs of clients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, including risk assessments and positive behavior support plans.
• Complete necessary documentation promptly and in compliance with all regulatory standards to ensure accurate record-keeping and quality assurance.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to assess patients' needs, ensuring the most effective therapeutic interventions are employed.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, state agencies, and community partners, fostering strong collaborative relationships that benefit overall patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through attendance at conferences, workshops, and participation in committees that align with your area of expertise.
• Promote the mission and values of Empath Behavioral Services through outreach and relationship-building activities within the community.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient care and share insights that enhance service delivery.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational objectives.

The Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals facing emotional challenges, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will employ a person-centered approach to create therapeutic environments where clients feel safe and empowered to explore their mental health needs. Promoting recovery and wellness while taking into account individual cultural and personal needs is paramount to our service delivery.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• An Independent LPCC License issued in the state of California is mandatory.
