We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Financial Reporting AI Expert to join our finance and transformation team. This role blends strong accounting fundamentals with emerging AI capabilities to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial reporting processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing traditional accounting workflows, particularly across month-end and year-end close cycles, while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
You will actively manage and optimize the month-end and year-end close processes, leveraging AI-driven tools and automation techniques to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy. This includes coordinating cross-functional inputs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing intelligent solutions to streamline reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting timelines.
A core part of your role will involve preparing, reviewing, and validating journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. You will ensure completeness and accuracy by applying accounting principles alongside automated checks and anomaly detection models. You will also design and refine workflows that enable consistent and audit-ready financial data.
You will be responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Using AI-enabled tools, you will enhance reporting quality through automated variance analysis, trend identification, and predictive insights. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that reports are clear, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Additionally, you will contribute to the integration of AI into financial reporting processes by evaluating tools, building use cases, and supporting implementation. This includes working with data teams to structure financial data for machine learning applications and continuously improving reporting frameworks through automation and intelligent analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
  • 2-7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit roles
  • Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes
  • Hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
