Description

Position Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst to support a high-profile digital transformation initiative involving the migration of Caterpillar's Digital Support organization from Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics 365. This individual will work closely with the Product Owner and Capgemini implementation team to manage day-to-day project operations, maintain Azure DevOps work items, coordinate project activities, and facilitate requirements gathering. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in enterprise software implementations, and comfortable acting as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the project remains on track for a targeted November go-live and will support ongoing Phase 2 initiatives following production deployment. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Management -Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders. -Refine requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria. -Partner with business teams and implementation partners to clarify requirements and resolve questions. -Assist with backlog grooming and requirements prioritization. -Document project decisions, assumptions, and business processes. Azure DevOps Administration -Maintain and update user stories, tasks, defects, and epics in Azure DevOps. -Ensure work items are properly linked, prioritized, and documented. -Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reporting activities. -Maintain backlog hygiene and project documentation. Project Coordination -Coordinate project meetings and stakeholder working sessions. -Develop and distribute meeting agendas. -Capture and publish meeting minutes and follow-up actions. -Track action items and ensure accountability across project teams. -Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs and readiness trackers. Stakeholder Communication -Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Capgemini implementation teams. -Facilitate communication across multiple workstreams. -Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies as needed. -Provide status updates and support project reporting efforts. Required Qualifications -3+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise technology projects. -Experience gathering and documenting business requirements. -Experience creating and managing user stories and acceptance criteria. -Strong experience using Azure DevOps or similar Agile project management tools. -Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills. -Experience coordinating meetings, action items, and project deliverables. -Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations. Experience with Salesforce migrations or CRM transformation projects. Experience working in Agile delivery environments. Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes. Experience working alongside large systems integrators such as Capgemini, Accenture, Deloitte, or Cognizant. Experience supporting contact center or customer support technology initiatives.
