Job description

KBP Brands is seeking an Accounting Manager, Revenue to oversee a team responsible for the completeness and accuracy of more than $1 billion in annual revenue across 1,100 restaurant locations and four nationally recognized brands. This role combines people leadership, revenue accounting expertise, and system implementation responsibilities to support accurate financial reporting and operational decision-making.

The Accounting Manager will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, driving process improvements, and supporting business initiatives through meaningful analysis and reporting. This position also serves as the administrator and subject matter expert for the company's transaction-matching software and will lead implementation efforts across additional brands. What You'll Do

  • Manage and develop a team of revenue accountants responsible for revenue accounting and cash reconciliation activities.

  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve reconciling items, transaction errors, and other discrepancies.

  • Develop accounting control parameters and recommend improvements to existing procedures and processes.

  • Lead implementation efforts for transaction-matching software across cash, delivery, gift card, and credit card processes.

  • Drive the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of financial information to meet established deadlines.

  • Deliver operational reporting and analysis that provides actionable insights to business leaders.

  • Reconcile cash and receivable accounts and identify trends related to cash handling and operational performance.

  • Partner with Operations, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to support corporate initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors regarding revenue-related matters.

  • Support special projects and strategic operational accounting initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting, finance, or revenue accounting experience.

  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing accounting professionals.

  • Strong understanding and application of GAAP and internal accounting controls.

  • Experience managing reconciliations in a high-volume transaction environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology and systems to improve accounting processes and reporting.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with both financial and operational stakeholders.

  • Experience with transaction-matching, account reconciliation, or financial systems such as Trintech, BlackLine, Workday, or similar platforms preferred.

  • Experience in restaurant, franchise, retail, hospitality, or other multi-unit environments preferred.

  • Experience with revenue streams involving cash, credit card, and delivery transactions preferred.
