SENIOR CLIENT ACCOUNTANT

This Senior Client Accountant role is a great opportunity. You would be joining a family-oriented office in Chattanooga while receiving support from seasoned industry professionals in the market and receive mentorship from Senior team members.


SCOPE OF WORK FOR CLIENT ACCOUNTANT

Demonstrates needed knowledge of accounting principles and techniques to complete assignments in a timely manner with normal supervision

Understands and follows prior year work papers and journal entries

Maintains and updates accounting records and files

Conducts month-end and year-end closures

Prepares documents for audits and/or tax

Follows through on responsibilities and takes ownership of assignments

Communicates professionally and promptly to clients

 IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required

3-5 years of public accounting experience preferred

CPA eligible preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments
