Your Impact

As a Software Engineering Technical Leader and hands-on individual contributor, you will shape how the team turns product ideas into high-quality customer experiences. You will provide deep frontend leadership while remaining actively engaged in day-to-day design, implementation, debugging, testing, and code review.

You will define and evolve the frontend architecture and UI experience across React, TypeScript, GraphQL/Apollo, shared UI patterns, routing, performance, accessibility, and maintainability. You will help the team prototype quickly, translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready work, and use product analytics to understand adoption and guide iteration.

This role will also helpestablishscalable micro-frontend integration patterns and frontend-specific standards for AI-assisted development. Your work will raise the quality, consistency, and velocity of contributions from across the team while reducing dependence on a small number of engineers for critical frontend architecturedecisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, debug, andmaintainhigh-quality, scalable customer-facing applications using React and TypeScript.

  • Lead frontend technical design and architecture decisions, including component and shared UI patterns, state management, routing, performance, accessibility, testing, and long-term maintainability.

  • Partner closely with product managers and designers to rapidly prototype, iterate on, andvalidatecustomer experiences, even when requirements are incomplete or evolving.

  • Evolve the team's micro-frontend strategy, including host/remote integration, module federation or comparable patterns, runtime isolation, dependency sharing, ownership boundaries, and deployment expectations.

  • Use qualitative and quantitative product signals to identify adoption issues and partner with product and design to improve feature outcomes.

  • Create reusable frontend standards, patterns, documentation, and review expectations that improve consistency and make architecture knowledge broadly accessible.

  • Define practical guardrails, workflows, review standards, and quality gates for AI-assisted UI development, ensuring generated and human-written code meets standards for UX, visual quality, accessibility, performance, security, and maintainable structure.

  • Provide high-quality code reviews, remove delivery bottlenecks, mentor engineers, and raise the frontend craft of full-stack and frontend contributors.

  • Continuously evaluate and adopt tools, techniques, and platform improvements that enhance the team's development workflow and product quality.

  • Experience collaborating effectively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver customer-facing experiences.

Preferred Requirements
  • Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, GraphQL/Apollo, shared UI systems, frontend testing strategy, accessibility standards, and performance tuning at scale.

  • Proven ability to use analytics as a product feedback loop, identifying adoption issues and partnering with product and design to improve feature outcomes.

  • Experience rapidly prototyping customer-facing experiences and helping teams validate product ideas before requirements are fully defined.

  • Demonstrated design judgment and frontend craft, including the ability to evaluate visual quality, interaction patterns, usability, accessibility, and overall product experience.

  • Experience establishing frontend architecture standards and scalable integration patterns across multiple teams, applications, or independently owned frontend surfaces.

  • Strong practical working knowledge of AWS, Terraform, shell scripting, and the operational practices needed to build, run, troubleshoot, and maintain a secure, reliable sandbox environment.
