Job description

Job Summary:
Imprint is a company reimagining co-branded credit cards and financial products, partnering with various brands to launch modern credit programs. The Senior Enterprise IT Engineer will design, automate, manage, and support the company's core IT infrastructure and employee technology services, ensuring security and operational efficiency as the company transitions to AI-native solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand pain points, gather requirements, and design IT systems and workflows that meet operational needs
• Design, build, and maintain scalable IT systems, workflows, automations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, security, and employee experience
• Develop scripts, integrations, internal tools, and AI-assisted workflows to automate repetitive IT processes such as onboarding, off-boarding, access provisioning, device compliance checks, software deployment, and reporting
• Build and maintain integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms, identity providers, device management tools, ticketing systems, collaboration platforms, AI tools, and security tools
• Use APIs, scripting, automation platforms, and AI capabilities to reduce manual work and improve consistency across IT operations
• Partner with Engineering and Security teams to design secure, maintainable solutions that align with company architecture and compliance requirements
• Evaluate new tools and technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve IT service delivery and employee productivity
• Manage, configure, and monitor identity and access management tools, including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and role-based access controls
• Design and automate user provisioning, de-provisioning, group management, and access request workflows
• Explore AI-enabled approaches to streamline access reviews, anomaly detection, documentation, and operational reporting
• Implement and enforce the principle of least privilege for all user accounts and resources
• Lead periodic access reviews and take corrective actions based on findings
• Partner with Security and business system owners to ensure access controls are scalable, auditable, and compliant
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, hardening, and troubleshooting of device management platforms
• Design and improve device lifecycle workflows, including procurement, enrollment, configuration, patching, compliance monitoring, and retirement
• Ensure all devices are hardened according to security best practices and organizational policies
• Automate device management tasks where possible, including compliance checks, software installation, configuration enforcement, and reporting
• Leverage AI-enabled tools where appropriate to improve troubleshooting, device insights, support workflows, and operational efficiency
• Manage patching and updates while coordinating with end users to minimize downtime
• Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise software platforms used across the company
• Deploy, update, troubleshoot, and automate software applications for end users
• Design scalable workflows for software access, licensing, renewals, approvals, and lifecycle management
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into software administration, integration, automation, or AI-enabled workflow requirements
• Support IT planning, budgeting, cost forecasting, and cost optimization across SaaS platforms, licenses, devices, and IT services
• Monitor platform health, usage, permissions, license utilization, and configuration drift across key business applications
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Administer and support email systems, ticketing platforms, knowledge bases, chat tools, AI productivity tools, and other collaboration platforms
• Build automations and AI-enabled workflows that improve employee productivity and reduce support burden
• Monitor usage and performance, ensuring high availability and a positive user experience
• Develop user training materials and deliver training sessions to drive adoption and best practices
• Partner with business teams to identify opportunities for AI, automation, and workflow improvements
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, identity, and access issues for remote employees across multiple time zones
• Serve as an escalation point for complex IT issues requiring systems-level troubleshooting, automation, or AI-assisted analysis
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and root causes
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and manage lifecycle processes
• Improve support processes through documentation, automation, self-service, AI-assisted workflows, and better tooling
• Track and report on operational metrics, SLAs, recurring issues, costs, and opportunities for improvement
• Continuously evaluate and implement security enhancements across end-user devices, SaaS applications, identity systems, AI tools, and IT infrastructure
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the Information Security team to align device, identity, software, automation, and AI-enabled controls with broader security initiatives
• Support evidence collection and control operation for audits, certifications, and regulatory requirements
• Design systems, automations, and AI-enabled workflows with security, privacy and logging in mind
• Identify risks in IT systems and workflows and drive remediation through technical solutions
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT, systems engineering, IT automation, infrastructure administration, or a similar role
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining IT systems, workflows, integrations, automations, or AI-enabled solutions
• Hands-on experience writing code or scripts using languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, or similar
• Experience working with APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, AI tools, or integration platforms
• Experience engaging with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Experience with IT planning, budgeting, cost forecasting, license management, or cost optimization
• Proficiency with identity management platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Rippling, or similar
• Hands-on experience with MFA, SSO, lifecycle management, VPNs, endpoint security, and access control systems
• Familiarity with device management tools such as Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle, or similar
• Knowledge of collaboration and business productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, AI productivity tools, or ticketing systems
• Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and secure connectivity
• Strong working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux environments
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems, SaaS platforms, devices, networks, and identity layers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and support both technical and non-technical users
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
• Demonstrated bias for action and urgency, especially in critical situations requiring immediate response
• Ability to prioritize and respond to support requests efficiently while improving the systems and processes that generate them
Preferred:
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated environments
• Experience supporting security, compliance, audit, or risk management programs
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, CI/CD, or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience building internal tools, bots, dashboards, workflow automations, or AI-enabled support tools
• Experience with AI tools or AI-assisted automation for IT operations
• Familiarity with security tools such as endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, DLP, SIEM, or CASB platforms
• Track record of supporting cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities in high-growth environments
• Experience designing scalable onboarding, off-boarding, access review, device compliance, SaaS governance, or cost optimization programs
