Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health needs, crafting a comprehensive understanding of their individual situations.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy programs that effectively address each client’s unique challenges and goals.
• Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that promote healing and personal growth.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the provision of integrated care that enhances the therapeutic process.
• Work closely with clients’ families, offering education and support during the therapeutic journey to foster understanding and improve dynamics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

In your role, you will work with a diverse population, including couples, families, and individuals dealing with a wide range of issues such as relationship challenges, communication barriers, family dynamics, and emotional difficulties. Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to establish a secure and trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.
• A strong capacity for empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients’ experiences and struggles.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to balance client care and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health setting or similar environments.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining client documentation.
• Background in providing family therapy and experience with issues related to family dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits
