About the Organization

Madison Behavioral Health is a leading rehabilitation center located in Long Beach, California. We specialize in providing comprehensive mental health support, focusing on trauma, anxiety, and depression. Our mission is to empower individuals by offering tailored, solution-based therapies in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team. Our organization fosters a culture of collaboration, respect, and professional growth—ideal for individuals who thrive in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and social needs to inform the development of personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain and manage accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate and enhance client care.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of social work and mental health to ensure best practices and innovative solutions are applied in client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Madison Behavioral Health, you will primarily work with clients facing end-of-life challenges in our hospice center setting. This role requires sensitivity and expertise in navigating complex emotional and psychological needs during a vulnerable stage of life. You will engage with clients and their families, providing crucial support and guidance to help them process grief, anxiety, and the emotional impacts of terminal diagnoses.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active LCSW license in the state of California.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • The ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in hospice care, palliative care, or end-of-life counseling is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques with diverse populations.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to optimize patient care documentation.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage to support your overall health.
  • Life and disability insurance for financial security.
  • Professional liability insurance to protect against potential claims.
  • An employee assistance program (EAP) to provide additional support for personal and professional challenges.
  • Unlimited client referrals to help you build and maintain a full caseload.
  • A focus on minimal paperwork, allowing you to dedicate more time to client care.

Madison Behavioral Health is committed to the professional development of its team members. We offer ongoing training and education opportunities, as well as leadership development programs to help you advance your career in social work. As the organization expands, there may also be opportunities to take on supervisory or specialized roles in the future.

Why Join Our Team
