As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will engage directly with clients in a variety of ways:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs, adhering to best practices and established frameworks.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions to deliver effective counseling services to students experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and privacy for all students.
• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers and administrators, to create a holistic support system that addresses academic and emotional challenges faced by students.
• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering an environment of continuous professional development and collective learning.
• Provide education to students and their families about available mental health resources and community services, ensuring they feel empowered and supported in their mental health journey.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advances in mental health, integrating new insights and methodologies into your practice to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Manage a caseload of students, ensuring timely interventions are delivered and goals are consistently met, contributing to positive academic and life outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on students within the educational system who may be facing mental health challenges that impact their academic performance and emotional well-being. You will work closely with students of varying ages and backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. You will also include families in the treatment process, providing them with resources and support as they navigate mental health issues collaboratively with their children.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a clinical setting, specifically providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and an understanding of the challenges faced by students in an educational setting.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with a focus on interdisciplinary teamwork.

Experience in a school-based setting and familiarity with educational policies and mental health resources will be considered a significant advantage. Demonstrated effectiveness in delivering interventions via telehealth platforms will also be highly regarded.
