Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will engage directly with clients in a variety of ways:

  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions to deliver effective counseling services to students experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and privacy for all students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students within the educational system who may be facing mental health challenges that impact their academic performance and emotional well-being. You will work closely with students of varying ages and backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns. You will also include families in the treatment process, providing them with resources and support as they navigate mental health issues collaboratively with their children.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of three yearsโ€™ experience in a clinical setting, specifically providing psychotherapy services.
  • Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and an understanding of the challenges faced by students in an educational setting.
