Who we are: Advanced Radiology Services is one of the largest 100% physician-owned and managed practices in the country. Our team includes 175 radiologists, 30 advanced practice providers, and 175 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. We are committed to remaining independent and providing the highest level of care to our patients. We value diversity on our team and promote a culture of inclusion.
What we do: We provide services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. ARS is the exclusive radiology provider to West Michigan's largest Level I trauma center and research hospital, Corewell Health. American College of Radiology has designated Corewell a Diagnostic Center for Excellence .
What we are looking for: We are currently accepting applicants for a fully remote Musculoskeletal Imaging position. The successful candidate will dedicate approximately 50% of clinical time to Musculoskeletal Imaging. The remainder of the time will be determined based on preference but may include body, ER, or general imaging shifts. This is a full time, partnership track position and will work primarily day time hours. Our standard track physicians work 39 weeks and 11 weekends, and have 13 weeks of vacation.
Responsibilities:
  • Interpretation of ~50% MSK studies
  • The remainder of the time will be determined based on preference but may include cross-sectional, ER, or general imaging shifts
  • Teaching of radiology residents virtually if desired

Why do you want to do telerad for us?
Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well-established teleradiology practice. We had remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 14 states. We utilize Intelerad PACS, PowerScribe 360 and Clario; we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual section, committee and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions. You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side as we have dedicated body, cardiothoracic, ER, neuro, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and ultrasound readers on first and second shifts and body, ER, neuro, and pediatric readers on third shift.
Compensation/Benefits: We are currently offering a 50K recruitment incentive which is payable upon signing. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for increased compensation by picking up additional shifts on a month to month basis. Our physicians pay "0" for medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401K plan ($72,000 in 2026). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and a 6-week paid parental leave benefit to coordinate with the 12 weeks of FMLA!
Requirements
  • American Board of Radiology or AOBR certified or Board-Eligible
  • Completion of a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship
  • MSK ultrasound training or clinical MSK ultrasound experience a plus but not required
