Work Environment

As a remote facility specializing in telehealth, our work environment is designed to provide flexibility while maintaining high standards of care. We operate from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, allowing for a collaborative and versatile schedule. Our supportive team includes administrative staff focused on client service and scheduling, enabling you to maintain a comprehensive clinical practice without unnecessary interruptions.

Key Responsibilities

As an LCPC, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and to tailor effective treatment strategies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and the cultivation of resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients effectively.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients, helping them to process trauma and develop essential coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care for each patient.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely assistance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid LCPC license in the state of Maryland.
