What does a remodeling manager do?

A Remodeling Manager oversees renovation projects for homes or commercial properties, managing everything from planning and budgeting to supervising contractors and ensuring quality work. They coordinate with clients to understand their needs, develop project timelines, and ensure that all work complies with building codes and safety regulations. Remodeling Managers also handle problem-solving during the project, track expenses, and keep clients updated on progress. Their role is essential to delivering successful remodeling outcomes on time and within budget.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a remodeling manager?

To thrive as a Remodeling Manager, you need strong project management skills, knowledge of construction methods, budgeting, and a background in building codes, often supported by a degree in construction management or related experience.
