Lead Installer - Flooring & Kitchen Remodel

FLOORING GROUP INC

Santa Barbara, CA • On-site

$70K - $85K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 7 days ago

Job description

We're a well-established Flooring and Kitchen & Bath Design company in Santa Barbara (79 years in business) looking for one solid person to grow with us - not a flooring crew, not a day laborer. A skilled generalist who takes pride in doing things right.
What you'll actually do:
• Lead kitchen and bath remodel installs: demo, door hanging, tile, cabinet panels, light plumbing
• Install flooring (hardwood, LVP, tile) as primary or support depending on project
• Between projects - warehouse support, material staging, assisting our install crew
• Warehouse work - receiving & tracking material, staging jobs, keeping things organized
• Be the person clients trust to see a job through start to finish
• Be a team player
You're the right fit if:
• You've done a mix of trades work - flooring, carpentry, light plumbing, handyman
• You communicate well and show up on time (this matters more than anything)
• You're tired of chasing your own jobs and want steady, quality work
• You take direction well but don't need to be babysat
• You want to learn and grow
• You desire to advance and achieve more - we promote from within
What we offer:
• Consistent full-time hours
• Work alongside an experienced crew – you will learn a lot
• A company that's been around 79 years and knows how to take care of good people
• Competitive pay based on experience
This is not a subcontractor position. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of the team.
To apply: Send a text or email telling us a little about your background and what kind of work you've done. No resume required - just talk to us like a human.
