Job description

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager who embraces challenges and is a motivated self-starter. This individual must be able to provide attention to detail in his/her work while maintaining a perspective aimed at making the program successful. Will lead a team of subject matter experts in fulfilling technical requirements for the Airborne Systems Integration (ASI) Division at Webster Field in St. Inigoes, MD. The team will support both urgent short duration projects and longer term requirements. Project team activities include procurement, fabrication, integration, testing and evaluation, installation, and fielding support for communication platforms. The selected candidate oversees and manages the technical project(s) and serves as a liaison between the BAE Systems contract management team and the government project leads. Prepares project execution plans and identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. The following duties are typical of the position: 1. Responsible for the leadership of a project, or portions of multiple projects, within established program guidelines.
2. Manages the quadruple constraint of scope, schedule, budget, and quality for assigned projects.
3. Liaises with customers and other contractors.
4. Develops or assists with development of project cost estimates.
5. Coordinates with functional managers for resources.
6. Executes processes and procedures to meet management and project requirements.
7. Develops briefs and/or reports on the status of assigned projects.
8. Ensures quality assurance requirements are met.
9. Initiates corrective action to support task problems and failures.
10. Monitors work and expenditures to ensure schedule and budget are maintained. This position is located in St. Inigoes, MD. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Southern Maryland. Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical discipline and at least 8 years of related experience, including project management

Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
