Funeral Director / Embalmer

A well-established funeral home group in Colorado Springs is seeking a licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer to join its team. This is a strong opportunity for a compassionate, dependable funeral professional who is comfortable serving families, supporting funeral services, and assisting with embalming responsibilities in a high-volume, cremation-focused environment.

The organization serves approximately 500 families annually across multiple locations, with the majority of cases being cremation. The team is looking to add another licensed professional to help support current case volume and provide families with a high level of care.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with families and assist with funeral arrangements
  • Coordinate and support funeral, memorial, and cremation services
  • Perform embalming and preparation as needed
  • Work directly with families during a difficult time with professionalism and compassion
  • Support daily funeral home operations
  • Assist with service setup, coordination, and follow-through
  • Collaborate with other funeral directors and team members
  • Participate in the on-call schedule
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards, state regulations, and professional best practices

Qualifications
