We are currently seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician - 1st/2nd/3rd Shift for our client in the Manufacturing domain. Location: Worth, TX

Salary: $60,000-$65,000/Annually

Role: Injection Molding Process Technician - 1st/2nd/3rd Shift

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The Injection Molding Process Technician must have 2+ years of experience. As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you will perform manufacturing support activities for a specific product or group of products.

Responsibilities:

- Follow procedures and protocols for addressing press alarms, production priorities, and test runs.

- Complete production test runs including summarizing the results, completing the workstream in our MRP system, and communicating with all stakeholders.

- Ability to transfer processes from one machine to another, also validating the process on the new machine; requires the creation of a new setup sheet and appropriate storage and filing of those documents.

- Collaborate with process, tooling, quality, maintenance, and production to identify and solve problems.

- Document all process changes on the “process change log worksheet”.

- Follow standardized communication processes and expectations. Requires verbal, written, and formal communications to peers, operations, and vendors.

- Work from a predetermined priority schedule subject to change to start or stop a molding machine including a complete shutdown to prepare the press for mold changes.

- Provide support to molding and the quality team on all corrective actions.

- Support the molding floor to ensure molds are running at an established process within the defined parameters.

- Keeping a clean work environment including the molding floor.

- Setup and improvement of part containment at the molding machine.

- Work collaboratively with the molding department to implement and maintain a clean/safe molding floor.

- Camera setup and installation as requested by Operations and Engineering.

- Setup and tuning of Sprue Pickers and Robots. Yushin Sprue Pickers and Robots.

- All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

What we'd like you to have:

- 2+ years of experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding environment.

This position requires continued education; specifically, the American Injection Molding Institute (AIM) molding I and II. Company to pay for course work and travel.

Education: High School/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
