Our company handles the entire flow of providing these products and services beginning with Sales, Provisioning, Design and Engineering, Contracting and Construction, Servicing and Maintenance. 
 JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in managing the financial activities of the organization, overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making for the group.  This position involves leading a team of accountants and collaborating with other departments to maintain accurate financial records and achieve organizational goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team's effectiveness and professional growth.
  • Manage AP, AR and bookkeeping priorities for the team.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Ensure the year-end audit is clean and timely.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities
  • Supports budget and forecasting activities.
  • Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Responds to inquiries from the CEO, Dr. of Finance, and other finance and company managers regarding financial results, and special reporting requests.
  • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy as well as assisting in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
  • Support management with special projects and workflow process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in accounting
  • Construction or manufacturing accounting experience preferred
  • Experience in navigating through complex technical accounting matters is a must.
  • Prior experience managing general ledger and accrual accounting 
  • Current CPA license preferred
 Requirements:
  • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced workplace. 
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel and general AI tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and tax law required
  • Strong work ethic and confidentiality skills required
Physical Requirements: 
  • Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, type, and write.
  • Reach with hands and arms, bend, stand on a stool or climb, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Use standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, printers, photocopiers,

  • Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets.
