    Adjunct - Religion Instructor
    This posting is part of an ongoing recruitment effort. Applications are accepted year-round, and qualified candidates will be contacted as positions become available.
    Overview:
    Cincinnati State Technical and Community College invites candidates who are fully committed to the mission and values of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College to apply for the position of Religion Adjunct instructor. Qualified candidates will be responsible for instruction of courses in Religion.
    Essential Duties:
    • Instruct students in various Religion courses. Create or if available, follow syllabi, course materials, and assignments to support course learning outcomes as defined by the Arts & Philosophy Department and the State of Ohio
    • Ensure that students achieve course learning outcomes as defined in the syllabus
    • Maintain electronic records (using Brightspace) of student performance, progress, and attendance
    • Complete, as directed, all start and end-of-semester responsibilities, including submission of no-show rosters and final grades

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Master's degree in subject area or closely related field
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Three years of teaching or industry experience
    • Experience using online learning management systems (Brightspace)
    • Experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences
    • Ability to employ a range of online instructional technologies
    • Flexible availability for online consultation with students
